YouTube adds Beta features every month, but some are not available to everyone. Earlier today, YouTube Announced a new set of experimental features coming for Premium users.

These new experiences and features promise to provide Premium users with more options to enhance their viewing experience. Along with rolling out new beta features, YouTube also announced the Google One partnership and expanded One feature availability.

If you’re a Premium user, you can subscribe to multiple beta features at once like new audio enhancements, PiP for Shorts, Smart Downloads, and more. Here’s the full list of beta features available now YouTube Premium Users:

• High quality sound: Premium members will experience new audio enhancements, enjoying high-quality 256kbps audio on music videos with greater clarity and depth.
• Picture-in-picture for short YouTube videos on iOSShorts: Watch your favorite short videos while browsing other apps or checking messages.
• Smart downloads for short YouTube videos on iOSShorts: Recommended short videos will be automatically selected and downloaded for offline viewing.
• “Jump ahead” on the Internet: Previously available on mobile devices, you can now seamlessly jump to the best parts of the video while browsing on web browsers.
• Faster playback speeds on mobile: You’ll soon be able to enhance your viewing experience with up to 4x expanded playback speed options on mobile devices.

As mentioned earlier, apart from adding several new beta features, YouTube is now rolling out a new offer in the US that allows Premium users to save on their plan when they purchase with Google One Premium plan or above. Unfortunately, the savings are very small. For example, if you decide to pay less Google One Premium plan ($9.99 per month for 2TB), you’ll save $2 per month YouTube Premium.

Last but not least, YouTube is expanding the Ask Music feature to Android subscribers in the UK and Ireland. With Ask Music, YouTube users can describe the type of music they want to listen to, and thanks to the new feature, the app will be able to create a personalized radio station containing their favorite music.

YouTube’s AI conversation tool will also be expanded to iOS. The utility answers questions about the video you’re watching, suggests related content, and more, without interrupting your playback experience.
