The X social media platform, previously known as Twitter, is witnessing a series of disturbances today, which affects a large number of users worldwide. Multiple cases of service interruption have been reported, which represents the third event so far in one day.

The primary wave began with the problems reported in the early morning hours, specifically at 2:30 am at the time of the day in the Pacific Ocean (PDT), the corresponding to the east daylight (EDT). While the service seemed to settle after this initial turmoil, a later increase occurred in the user’s reports at 6:30 am PDT, or 9:30 am US East. This repeated stability indicates a possible problem with the platform infrastructure, although no information from the company is shared as of writing this article.

Users faced difficulties across X and its mobile application. Some individuals reported that complete access, which means that they were unable to contact the platform at all. Others have seen great delays in downloading content, which led to a slow user experience. This wide range of problems indicates that problems are not limited to a specific job or area.

Historically, social media platforms have faced challenges to maintain a fixed operation time due to the huge size of users and the complexity of their systems. The incidents of this nature can stem from various causes, including the excessive load of the server, the defects in the programs, or even external factors such as the interruption of the network. When these interruptions occur several times in a short period, it raises questions about the platform’s ability to deal with traffic and maintain the reliability of the service.

We do not yet know the exact cause of these interruptions, however, it is good at least to know that there are alternatives that can be used to communicate with what is happening in the world and stay in contact with it. I do not mean to be this person, but this may also be a good chance to separate a little, and who knows, may come out and touch some grass. And yes, I realize that I say this as I am writing this article from my office while you are on my computer. This is life.
