There is no shortage of social media platforms these days, and it is fair to say They all played a role in keeping us attached to our screens. But now, one of the companies that contributed to this direction wants to change how to engage in the Internet.

Buzzfeed is Prepare to launch a new social platform with a focus on fun, creativity and positivity. Therefore, the new Buzzfeed platform aims to be an escape from the algorithm that is based on Doomscrolling we are all familiar with. Instead of coordinated extracts from artificial intelligence, it is a really strange, strange and cheerful content designed to restore fun to the Internet. The idea is to show the best of the web through human administration, which provides an alternative to the noise created from artificial intelligence and that overwhelms most social media platforms. Moreover, Peretti highlights the reason for entering the company's social media space. It indicates how platforms like Tiktok and Instagram and Facebook depends greatly on AI's algorithms that give priority to sharing everything else. Instead of real human rule, these platforms of artificial intelligence allow to push the type of content that leads to compulsory reactions.

It mainly calls how creators exaggerate everything to make it look urgent and influential in life, behave like their pioneering content, and only raises anger to increase participation. Frankly, I think it is not wrong, and this is exactly the reason why many people - including me - finds traditional social media exhausting, frankly, not worth time. However, one can argue that Buzzfeed is not completely innocent of using the same tactics as well.

But now, the company, which also owns HuffPost and Tasty, wants to follow a different approach. Early subscriptions for Buzzfeed social network is already open to its website. However, the big question remains: Will this platform already present something different from Facebook or Tiktok? And most importantly, will the Internet really do? We will just have to wait and see.
