Sure, 5500 mAh isn't impressive, not with phones like this OnePlus 13 and its 6,000 mAh battery or next IQOO Z10 Turbo with a 7000 mAh cell. But 5,500 mAh is better than what Galaxy Ultra phones have been offering for some time. I'm sure that when it comes to phone batteries, most of us subscribe to the motto "the more, the merrier." However, it is not just omnipotence; It matters how quickly your phone charges. Personally, I didn't care about super-fast charging until I got a phone that supported 100W: that's insanely fast... and insanely useful. In two days (i.e. January 22), Samsung will launch the phone Galaxy S25 series, and it will be officially confirmed or denied whether the new flagship phones will have the same battery capacity (and charging speeds) as before. Therefore, the Galaxy S26 lineup is expected to feature new silicon-carbon anode batteries. These batteries store more energy than regular lithium-ion batteries, allowing Samsung to increase the size of the battery without increasing the size of the phones. This improvement is supposed to provide longer battery life while maintaining the slim design of Galaxy smartphones.
