Several key details on Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S10 FE series and Tab Active 5 Pro have finally surfaced

If you were expecting Samsung to unveil a range of new mid-range tablets alongside the highly anticipated devices With the flagship phones coming on January 22, you will likely be disappointed by the company The first major unpacked event of 2025.
But at least three large Galaxy devices with non-flagship specs and price points are bound to appear sooner or later, and I have some interesting details about them today thanks to the wonderful and resourceful folks at Robot body.
Two affordable Android giants for the masses
Released in the fall of 2023, it is budget-friendly Galaxy Tab S9 FE and The Tab S9 FE+ has yet to get the direct sequels that some of you may have expected to see in 2024. However, it's important to remember that Samsung has never released a single model of the Tab S8 FE, and The Galaxy Tab S7 FE saw the light of day in the summer of 2021.
This is a much more unpredictable product launch timeline than what usually happens with the company's high-end and even mid-range phones, so you shouldn't be shocked if... Galaxy Tab S10 The FE and Tab S10 FE Plus will be released in the fall of 2025 or early next year.

Of course, the latter is highly unlikely, and I have personal doubts about the former theory as well after this week's reveal of the processor inside each of those upcoming listings. This is made by Samsung The Exynos 1580, according to some reliable information leaked from within, indicates a nice and fairly significant upgrade over the Exynos 1380 that powers the aforementioned Galaxy Tab S9 Dual FE.
This is a very new, very modern mid-range chipset that was unveiled just a few months ago with CPU clock speeds of up to 2.9GHz, an ultra-advanced Samsung Xclipse 540 GPU on deck, built-in AI functionality, and a pre-processor Galaxy Tab S10 FE duo, we're almost certain we'll see this bad boy make his commercial debut within Galaxy A56 phone coming very soon.
The only other thing we know about the Tab S10 FE and Tab S10 FE+ at the moment is that both next-gen mid-range variants will launch in Wi-Fi-only and 5G variants... as you'd expect. Personally, I'm particularly excited about the smaller of these two models after Samsung inexplicably launched the high-end model Galaxy Tab S10 In Plus and Ultra sizes, leaving out those of you who might want to opt for a slightly more compact menu.
Fans of rugged tablets will also get some love... at some point

Like the Exynos 1580, this processor was announced in the second half of last year, so it didn't have enough time to power many devices you might be familiar with. But on paper, this is also a very impressive mid-range SoC with CPU clock speeds of up to 2.5GHz, cutting-edge on-device AI capabilities, and a host of very advanced Snapdragon Elite Gaming features.
Perhaps most importantly, this essentially guarantees vital performance improvements over the Snapdragon 778-powered Tab Active 4 Pro and the Exynos 1380-based Tab Active 5, in both Wi-Fi-only and 5G versions. All that's left to be revealed now is, well, everything else, from screen sizes to battery capacity, rugged credentials, camera specifications, product dimensions, price tags and release dates.
