Moto G (2025) introduction

While the device gets slight specifications with a newer processor and comes with a random access memory of 8 GB, it sticks to a dated LCD screen, which does not look almost good like vibrant OLED screens on my competitors like Galaxy A2X Series from Samsung.

In addition, Motorola is an update of the operating system only one programs, which is a great disappointment given that Samsung's' Budget phones You get four years of operating system updates.

So ... is there any yes to provide Moto G Power 2025? Or should you completely skip it?

We love the soft touch of vegetable skin

The new Moto G Power has grown slightly in size and now has a 6.8 -inch screen, a height of 6.7 inches in the previous style.

But it is still a relatively thick phone. We love the design, and the vegetable skin is a nice change from all the glass phones in which it flew there.

You also have a 3.5 mm headphone socket at the bottom, which is decreased by other companies, so Motorola is one of the few still has it.

It was not very included in the box-I got the phone, a USB-C cable, the usual SIM tool and evidence. It is worth noting that there is no charger, so you need to buy one separately (if you do not already have a licking charger).

Our biggest grip with G Power 2025 is the screen. It is very disappointing to see the LCD screen on the 2025 phone, even if it is a budget.

LCD screens do not have beautiful colors or contrast in OLED, and most competitors these days have already turned into OLED, so Motorola is stubbornly backward.

Well, at least, the screen gets brightly to hit about 1,000 brightness. There are more repercussions than we love, so its use in the open air is a slightly mixed part.

We are also a little bit let her down the minimum brightness. It can only decrease to 2.5 nits at night, which is a little bright if you are using your phone in bed.

However, zooming quality on Motorola is a little better.

In our photos, you can see that the pictures seem to be passable during the day, but they are not particularly exciting.

Video quality

Moto G Power 2025 can only record 1080p video and with many restrictions.

Details are less than average, but at least install the video.

You have up to 6x digital miniaturization and quality is not actually with this bad while zooming, so at least this is something.

Busty faster than before

This is a common criticism of the phones at this price, so the strength of G is not unusual, but other phones usually compensate for better cameras or anything else, and this does not seem to be the case with this.

The primary model of G Power (2025) has 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, which is a good amount.

You have familiar Moto gestures and some designated mini tools, but not much more. Many people love this simplicity, but they are not looking for any luxurious additions.

Disappointment, Motorola is committed only to 1 years of software updates for G Power (2025). So given that the phone arrives with Android 15It will only get Android 16 and there are no Android versions in the future. You will get security updates for three years, at least, at least something.

It was also frustrated by seeing ads in the ritual weather application. Of course, you can download a third -party application and use it, but this looks just a cheap trick.

In general, we appreciate that G Power offers about 6 hours and 11 minutes from screen time, which is somewhat average.

Thanks to the 30 watts charging speed, the phone is slightly faster than its main rival than Samsung, but not much and in our test, it took one hour and 20 minutes to top it completely. Basically, the speeds we measured were the same as those in the A25 5G, which supports the shipping speeds 25 W.

We were also pleased with a vision that G Power has wireless charging, which is uncommon Budget phones.

There is no magnet on the plane, unfortunately, but wireless charging speeds are not very slow at 15 W.

You can get double speakers with a major shooting from the bottom and an auxiliary amplifier coming from the earphone.

It becomes very high, but because there are no low frequencies, it is not a pleasure to listen to music on this phone with its full size. In general, this is a budget amplifier and you can say, but at least it becomes high.

The headphone socket 3.5 mm below is something that we would like to see, and in a modern survey, 50 % of our readers said they still miss it.

Happy Motorola is not tight and fun as on high -end phones, but again, this is expected.

Should you buy it?

As we saw during this review, Motorola G Power (2025) does not rise to the legendary level of "G Power".

He lost the DNA for the wonderful battery life (it is decent, but it is not great) and has not acquired anything in return because it uses a dated LCD screen and actually processed a little slower than competitors.

We love design and clean program, but Motorola has placed ads in basic applications such as the weather application and a promise for only one year of software updates.

We do not like to be harsh towards the tools, but the G Power (2025) is the situation in which it is difficult to justify its full price of $ 300. The next Galaxy A25 5G and Galaxy A26 5G are better options with faster performance and better cameras and better screens. Noteing Phone 3A is another alternative that is worth, if you can find it where you live.
