Since we've all grown accustomed to seeing the world's top mobile makers skipping the Consumer Electronics Show in recent years, there are two very interesting ones: Lenovo's announcements at the 2025 Las Vegas trade show initially escaped my radar this week.
Fortunately (and somewhat unusually), the company caught my attention Product Introductions said by quickly launching the Lenovo Yoga Tab Plus and Legion Tab Gen 3 in the US at very competitive prices.

This bad boy somehow includes both the Lenovo Tab Pen Pro and keyboard stand in its $700 base price, so it undoubtedly beats the value proposition of the likes of Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra as well as almost all devices The best iPads available in early 2025
Equipped with a Snapdragon 8 3rd generation Processor The Lenovo Yoga Tab Plus is obviously not as fast as the Apple M4 iPad Pro (2024) Dual. But overall performance will likely be satisfactory (at least), both in the short and long term, when the 12.7-inch behemoth (with a 144Hz refresh rate-capable touchscreen) is guaranteed to receive Android 16.17 and 18. Updated after debuting with Android 15 software out of the box.
Hardcore gamers on tight budgets rejoice!
Yes, the Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 3 is designed for heavy gaming on the go... although you probably wouldn't have guessed that by looking at its $499.99 price. This is more or less on par with the medium range The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE, which clearly has nothing on raw power for this Snapdragon 8 3rd generation-Size 8.8 inches.
This compact "PureSight" display has a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a more impressive 165Hz refresh rate than the more expensive Yoga Tab Plus, and perhaps most strikingly, the Legion Tab Gen 3 features bezels that are thin enough to offer a premium display With 87.8 percent screen-to-body ratio.
Made entirely of metal, the surprisingly affordable new addition to the hugely popular Legion family can't really make any great (definite) promises of battery life given its sub-8mm slim profile allowing for a less than impressive 7,000mAh cell to some extent. On the bright side, you get 65W super-fast charging support here, as well as not one but two USB Type-C ports for a touch of more versatility that a lot of currently "mainstream" tablets can't match.
