Samsung's recent Unpacked event didn't just reveal what's new Galaxy S25 series – It's delivered some surprises, too. First, we got Official confirmation of the Galaxy S25 Edge, which was previously referred to as Galaxy S25 Slim. Samsung's display division had already done that It showed off some tri-fold prototypes at CES 2025, so it was clear the company was exploring the idea. However, this is the first time that Samsung has officially confirmed the presence of a tri-fold phone in its plans.

The tri-fold phone was mentioned while the company discussed its XR ambitions, which include The new headset, codenamed Project Moohan, was developed in collaboration with Google and Qualcomm. Samsung also shared its intention to work on smart glasses.
