Google Wallet has made a long time since its launch. The app is no longer just a digital portfolio, but it has become much more as Google has added new jobs over the years. Nowadays, you can use Google Wallet to store payment and loyalty cards, concert tickets, IDS, passports and more.
However, the most important feature in the application is the ability to perform mobile payments. In order for this to succeed, Google Wallet should support almost all banks and credit federations in the United States. This is not the case at the present time, but Google Wallet adds new names to the subsidized bank list per month.
The latest batch of new banks not supported by the Google Wallet includes 22 names (across Android Police):
- The Federal Credit Federation (TX)
- Arize Federal Credit Union (PA)
- Shield Bank (AR)
- Kassel Rock Bank (Minnesota)
- CFS Bank (Palestinian Authority)
- Cross Bank (AR)
- First Credit Union (MI)
- Febnad & Treast (AL)
- Federal Credit Federation (California)
- Four Seasons Federal Credit Union
- Financial Credit Union (MI)
- Hawaii Federal Credit Federation (HI)
- Federal Credit Union in the American Middle West
- Onbi
- RiverWays (MO)
- Salem Credit Union (VA)
- Sophie Bank, National Association (UT)
- Speedchane
- Saint Lawrence Federal Credit Union
- Napoleon State Bank (in)
- Wisconsin University Credit
- West Michigan Credit Union (MI)
Currently, Google Wallet supports more than 3000 financial institutions in the United States, but there is a lot waiting to add it to the list. Fortunately, it is only a matter of time before Google Wallet supports all banks and credit federations in the United States.
