Many Android and iOS users rely on Google Calendar to juggle their busy schedules, from appointments and meetings to events and everything in between. With so much going on, many of us rely on an app’s ability to sync multiple calendars. Now, it seems so Google could simplify the calendar interface, making it faster and easier to switch between calendars when adding a new event. Currently, when you go to create a new event in Google Calendar, it automatically switches to the calendar of events in an active account. If you want to switch to another calendar, you can tap your account details to bring up an expanded view that lists all your calendars across accounts linked to your device.
This setting works fine, but while looking into the latest calendar update, I came across a potential change that might make it easier to select your calendar for a new event. according to New Report: In version 2025.01.1-713312946, Calendar for Android, there is an option to enable an alternative UI for the event creation screen. This new setting displays all your calendars upfront, without you having to tap another list first.

If you manage multiple accounts, you’ll still need to tap the associated email to switch between them. However, once you do this, all the calendars associated with that account should appear in one handy row. This is the first glimpse of this UI tweak, and there is always a possibility that it will evolve before Google finalizes the design.
Although it is a small update, it may make things more convenient for users, and I am sure many will welcome it if Google decides to roll it out to everyone. In addition, with rumors spreading about… Apple is developing a dedicated app for the indoor event, and this move from Google could be exactly what it needs to stay ahead of the curve.
