Galaxy Watch 5 turns into a gaming machine with PSP emulation and Steam Link

Smart watches are great to track fitness, notifications and even blood pressure monitoring - but games? This barely a point of sale for most users. While the Play Store offers a set of simple OS games, control unit games and full computer games on a small watch screen that no one can think. But a very creative and dedicated Reddit user has proven that it could actually happen. I managed to play PSP games at 60 frames per second and even trading computer addresses via Link Steam on Samsung Galaxy Watch 5. This unconventional games experience shows what extent can you pay OS devices that can be paid with a little technical benefit, or maybe more than just a a little.

PSP games on a smart watch?

First of all, for those who do not have amazing childhood memories of 2000s, PSP means PlayStation Portable. The pocket control unit was released along the way in 2004, when you were only 8 years old, and it was suspended in 2014 after 10 years of pleasure during the navigation.

Now, at the time, I was completely surprised by games that could work on this small gaming console, but I never thought it would one day run like a galaxy watch from Samsung.

Unfortunately, the user Zenondsingk was not affected by the choice of OS Wear in the Play Store and wanted something more powerful. However, the side loading of the applications in the usual way - Bluetooth or the browser - did not succeed. That is when they turned to ADB (Android Debug Bridge), using an application called Bugjaeger to transfer APK files from their phone to their smart watch via Wi-Fi. Playless. Results? Smoothly smoothly. Galaxy Watch 5 classics such as GTA: Vice City, Mortal Kombat, and you need to speed: most required at about 60 frames per second, with more demanding titles such as God of War Rispiving to 30 frames per second.

This was not everything! The experiment pushed further, Zenondesingk installed Link Steam on the watch and Forza Horizon 4-Yes, full computer game-completely to their wrist. While the small touch screen of the hour made the challenge game, they paired the Bluetooth game for a more functional experience.

It goes without saying, this is barely the most enjoyable way to play a game, but it goes to what extent our modern tools came compared to old technology, and the extent of our achievement with them with some know -how and creativity.
