A new leak now confirms that the new Gemini accessory will be integrated with Samsung’s stock apps are likely set to debut with Galaxy S25 phones.

Understandably, both Google and Samsung have yet to share any details about the additions. We’ll likely hear a lot more about AI features on January 22, so they’ll likely be mentioned as well.

The Samsung Calendar extension shows the ability to create, edit or delete events, capture information from photos to create events, list events for a specific data range, as well as create recurring events using voice commands with Gemini. It is said that you will not be able to share events or discover overlapping events with this extension though.

The Samsung Notes extension will reportedly allow you to ask Gemini to create, summarize, and retrieve notes based on descriptions. You may not be able to create or delete folders, add note tags, or invite people to shared notes using this extension.

Last but not least, for the Reminders app, Gemini will allow you to create reminders, edit the name, time or date of the reminder, search for reminders by names, time or date, and delete existing reminders. You may not be able to add locations or photos to reminders, and you may also not be able to add checklists or add/edit categories.

Google is also said to be working on a Samsung Clock add-on that could let you manage alarms, stopwatches, and timers. These Gemini extensions are said to be debuting in the future Galaxy S25 phones, but it may also be available on older Galaxy models at a later date.

These features may seem fairly basic, but having generative AI perform them you can save time (both screen time and real-life time). Although these simple tasks will likely not be the focus of the action on Wednesday, they will complement the excellent rumors Galaxy artificial intelligence Bundle for upcoming S25 phones.

Samsung is clearly laying the foundation for a larger ecosystem of AI-integrated tools with the S25 series that should give us a more intuitive smartphone experience. Meanwhile, we’re still (mostly) waiting for Apple’s promised Siri upgrade.
