The largest promotion of the camera in The Galaxy S25 Ultra should be the new super -widen camera, only because all other cameras remained the same this year.

So jumping to a 50 -megapixel camera in the S25 Ultra, compared to a 12 -megapixel camera in the S24 Ultra, definitely highlights.

But is this really an upgrade that you should care about? What is the extent of this on the high quality of images?

We start on a day in perfect circumstances, and although the differences are slight, they are noticeable.

The new S25 Ultra takes a more clear picture and deals better with sunlight that reaches the lens. In the oldest S24 Ultra, it is caused by a little gray colors, while the S25 Ultra performance is much better.

If you have a pixel, you will also notice that the excessive intensity we see in the S24 Ultra is no longer present in the S25 Ultra. Details in the S25 Ultra image are slightly smoother, but in an enjoyable way.

Keep in mind that although it contains a 50 -megapixel camera, the new Galaxy continues to take 12 -megapixel photos by default. So this does not mean that you are getting more pixels units themselves, but rather the way to be treated.

Also, you really have to look closely, but there is less noise in the sky on the S25 Ultra.

Here is another daytime photo taken with the new ultra -wide camera. You can definitely see the old phone colors a little bit, and the exact improvement that comes with this new camera.

A 50 -megapixel new camera: a closer look at noise levels

Inside, the new highly expanded camera benefits 50MP from the assembly of the quadruple pixel units, which leads to less noise and more clear details.

We cut the central part of the same image captured by the S25 Ultra and S24 Ultra (above), so that you can see the difference in noise levels easier.

S25 Camera Fluent – Night Pictures

At night, the main difference that we see is color science and color temperature. The S24 ULTRA often picks up green tones, while the S25 ULTRA is doing better with exact colors and the appropriate white color balance.

However, this was not always the case and sometimes we saw some mistakes in the S25 Ultra, but it looked more consistent than the previous model.
