Some analysts believe that Trump will demand TSMC to design a transaction that leads to its acquisition of a stake in Intel Foundry Services, which is expected to match TSMC and Samsung Foundry with a 18A node (1.8nm), which will start huge production later this year. The other two assistants will start huge production on 2NM this year.

The president will be happy to see TSMC involved in Intel because the first can help Intel get works for her preceers from the best chips designers such as NVIDIA, Qualcomm, Broadcom and other TSMC customers.
