Apple has removed iCloud end to end encryption as per U.K. law

A short time ago, the UK government submitted a confusing confidential request: Apple has been asked to provide the authorities by accessing user data for every person all over the world. Fortunately, the company has resisted doing this so far, but how its services work for people in the United Kingdom.

An apple for her Disable the "advanced data protection" in the country, and users have already shared screenshots of the option not available in the UK now. This feature enables the end of encryption to the various parts of the data stored on iCloud, including:

  • ICloud backup
  • photo
  • Portfolio dates
  • reminder
  • Notes
  • Icloud engine
  • Voice notes
  • Reference
  • And siri shortcuts

Fortunately, at least, at least, very sensitive information will still have to enable the end of the encryption. This includes:
  • Passwords
  • Messages and face data
  • Site data
  • Health data
  • Apple card payments
  • Safari browser data

The loss of the end of the end means that this data is no longer as protected as strongly as possible. It prevents end to the end of the authorities and even your internet service provider from accessing your data. It is part of the reason for WhatsApp and Telegram is very popular as correspondence platforms in strict regions. Another tremendous aspect of the final encryption loss to the end is the fact that your data is now more likely to have malicious entities. Of course, the loss of this additional protection makes it simpler for infiltrators to find out what you are doing.

The initial demand for the UK government was beyond absurd in my opinion and has set a very dangerous precedent. While China explodes to invade people's privacy, the UK requests access to the data of each Apple user around the world. If Apple does not comply, the UK may threaten to disrupt its business there, which will be destroyed by the company.

The European Union - which no longer includes the United Kingdom - forced the recent adoption of changes to its business model. This made iPhone 16 is a completely different product in various regions of the world. But while these demands were often reasonable, the UK takes them very far.

Although I am sure many others, I hope that Apple can prevent authorities from enacting measures like this, the future looks somewhat more terrifying now.
