Android users, it’s your turn to get more car icon choices in Google Maps

[ad_1]

Last November, Google started New car icons test in Google Maps, which gives iOS more customization. Now, Android users appear to have finally get the same treatment.

Google Maps allowed users to replace their mobility icon since 2020, as it offers options such as the Red sedan, a yellow SUV, a green pick up, or just a simple share. But soon, you will not only do that, because Google Expanding the collection with more options, including a luxury sedan, off -road truck, four -wheel drive vehicles, a sports car, and even a hatchback, giving your journey in the application a little more.

There are eight color options to choose: Glacier White, Night Black, Resh Gray, Poppy Red, Sky Blue, Shotny Yellow, Aqua Green, and SunSet Magenta - the same iOS users. And if none of these new options appeal to you, do not worry - the icons of the original three vehicles are still present in the carosel.

Some users already have early access to new customer customization options on Android, but they are not yet widely available - in fact, not even for all iOS users, although Google starts last year. (I, to anyone, own them on my iPad but not on my iPhone.)

If you have access, allocate your car icon is very simple. Just start a trip, press your current car icon, and scroll via cars and trucks available to highlight the ones you want. Color options are displayed under compounds for easy choice.

I think the time has come for the time when Google gave us more customization options in maps, especially after getting Waze. Waze certainly still provides more fun customization, but Google Maps definitely deals with features like this.
